Black Cherry Soy Wax Jar Candle

Plump black cherry married with rich berry fruits and a hint of vanilla.

Black cherry has a very distinctive fragrance.  You know it as soon as you smell it.  Our black cherry smells wonderfully sweet and rich.  Full of depth and lovely and strong.  We have named ours “Sirist-Dhubh”, being Gaelic for black cherry.

If you love our Sirist-Dhubh fragrance, why not see what else we have in this fragrance?  Tealights, wax melts and reed diffusers are all available.  Just click here for more information.

We manufacture in very small batches to bring you a candle that has the personal touch.  We use the best quality materials to make sure you receive an excellent quality candle that burns beautifully.

Your black cherry fragranced candle is bold in fragrance, and so we thought it would suit a bold colour too.  Pink, the same colour of cherry juice, it looks lovely.  With a burn time of around 40 to 45 hours, it is vegan friendly and will add a splash of colour wherever it is situated.

Tips for your Sirist-Dhubh candle

Our candles burn at their best when they have time to burn evenly.  This needs around 4 hours.  When given this time, they will burn well and smell great throughout their lifespan.  Be sure to pop your wick back into the centre with something like a cocktail stick when you extinguish it.  This will prepare your candle for its next burn.  Trim the wick to 5mm before re-lighting your candle again so it continues to perform well.

Do not leave your candle unattended when it is lit.  Keep your lit candle away from drafts, pets and children.

As a small business, reviews are very important to us.  Our customers often choose based on previous recommendation (It is hard to smell a candle online). If you like your candle and have time to leave us a review, we would really appreciate it.

Eco Friendly

We use recycled and recyclable packaging, and choose local businesses when possible,  We use card, tissue and also some recycled and recyclable clam shell packaging for our product packaging and cardboard and paper for our shipping boxes and packing.  Our jar candles arrive to you in kraft card boxes.  Within the box, the candle is wrapped in tissue for extra protection.  If you would prefer not to have the presentation box as a result of your own eco awareness, just let us know and we will removed it before shipping to you.  Don’t worry, we will ensure it is well protected on its journey.

We make every effort to re-use shipping packaging we receive.  We feel this is better for the environment than putting it directly into the recycling process.  We will use it to ship your orders when we can.  We use only clean, undamaged packaging.  We hope you will approve, as we believe we should give materials a second life if appropriate.

Working in this way reduces the amount of virgin packaging going into the recycling process and means that the energy used to recycle it is reduced.

As a small company, we are not yet at the stage of being able to say we are carbon neutral, and so we do what we can to balance environmental consideration against providing you with a luxury product that you expect.  We hope that by our actions, we are heading in the right direction by re-using materials instead of automatically reaching for virgin packaging.
